Technical Artist

       CCN Designs is looking for a 3D game artist possessing a high degree of technical skill. The technical artist must be skilled in character rigging and skinning, and in working with a team of artists and programmers to ensure the smooth flow of art assets into our proprietary game engine. The ideal candidate can design and implement shaders, particle effects, and other environmental effects -- in general -- assist a skilled team of artists in getting the most out of a 3D game engine. The ideal candidate is proficient in 3D Studio Max and/or Maya with experience modeling, texturing, and rigging characters and environments, and can write Max or Maya scripts.

Requirements

Experience with 3DS Max or Maya.

Experience with MaxScript, MEL, C/C++ or other programming languages.

Proficiency in technical problem solving.

Thorough knowledge of particle systems, environmental effects, cloth simulations, IK set-up, and dynamics.

Experience with modeling, texturing, and rigging.

A passion for games.

Must be able to work full-time in the CCN Designs area

Pluses

Experience working with shaders, particles, and other effects.

Strong technical knowledge of other high-end 3D software.
